Offshore Fishing
Islamorada offshore fishing trips always provide an action-packed fishing day. We are blessed to have the beautiful blue water and Gulf Stream so close to our marina, allowing us to target fish that are usually only available with very long runs in most other areas of the country. On our offshore trips we can either cast, troll, or deep drop. While casting we typically target tunas or mahi when they are schooling on bait, throwing freelined live bait or artificial baits like topwater poppers. When trolling we can target all the species at once including Sailfish, Mahi, Tuna, or Wahoo.
When deep dropping we are using highly specialized equipment like electric fishing reels to maximize our fishing time targeting fish very deep in 400 – 800 feet. The snapper and grouper species we can target in these depths are highly sought after prized eating fish and not available in shallower depths.
Our 6-Hour 3/4 Day Offshore Charter is a great option for anglers looking to experience as much as possible. We will have the option to fish productive reefs for bottom species like snappers and groupers, and then head offshore for a shot at pelagics like mahi, tuna, and sailfish. With six hours on the water, you’ll have ample time to target a variety of species, giving you a solid chance to catch something special. This trip offers a perfect mix of action and variety, ideal for those who want a rewarding day of fishing.
For those looking for a longer day on the water, the 8-Hour Full Day Reef and Offshore Charter gives you even more opportunity to target both bottom fish and pelagic species. With eight hours to explore, you’ll have more time to chase after snappers, groupers, mahi, tuna, sailfish, and even wahoo. This extended trip allows for greater flexibility and increases your chances of catching something truly memorable. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or just looking to have a great time on the water, both charters are designed to provide plenty of fishing action, with a maximum of six guests to ensure personalized attention and a productive day.

Where We Go
How far we run will vary depending on the ocean currents. In Islamorada, we’re fortunate to have the Gulf Stream so close. Typically, we only need to run 5-15 miles offshore to reach the blue water for excellent offshore fishing. While we’re always willing to go further if needed to find the fish, the runs are never very long.
