Reef Fishing
Reef fishing trips allow us to target many of the iconic species that make Islamorada famous among sportfishermen. These trips usually include fishing live bait – slow trolling these baits are very productive for various species. Bug Sportfishing specializes in a muli-species approach and being ready for any opportunity we may come across on the water, the ocean is different every day! If you have a specific species target in mind, let me know and we can make it happen.
If you’re looking for a quick, fun, and productive day on the water, our 4-hour Half Day Reef Fishing Charter is the perfect option. This trip focuses on the patch reefs and nearby structures, where you’ll have the chance to catch a variety of fish, including snappers, groupers, and other popular reef species. It’s ideal for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a relaxed outing with plenty of action. This trip gives a great opportunity to bring some fresh fish home for dinner.
For anglers who want a bit more time on the water and a shot at something special, the 6-hour 3/4 Day Reef Fishing Charter offers the perfect balance of action and opportunity. This trip allows us to cover more water and spend more time doing so, allowing you to target a wider variety of species. With the extra time, you’ll have a greater chance to catch your limit, plus the possibility of landing larger or more prized fish.
No matter which option you choose, you’ll be well taken care of by our experienced crew, ensuring that you have a great time and make the most of your day on the water.
